Who are we?

The Food Cooperatives Network Association was established to:

1. Create conditions for strong, self-governed, diverse, widely accessible, and well-functioning food cooperatives that collaborate with one another;
2. Shape a legal and institutional environment that supports food cooperatives;
3. Help ensure universal access to good food and products (local, seasonal, safe/organic, and fair);
4. Engage people in the activities of food cooperatives and in building local communities;
5. Raise consumer awareness about the importance of high-quality products and short supply chains, and support informed consumer choices.
